I’m at Dell Headquarters in Austin, Texas and I just came across the posts about your recent experience with buying a laptop.  I’m sorry to hear that turned out that way and if I had to venture a guess as to what happened I would say it was probably a case of miscommunication where the rep you dealt with did not understand the situation.  I&#039;m familiar with the whole process of having to prove ownership of a system for warranty services but am equally puzzled as to what difference it should make when you&#039;re trying to buy a part.  I saw that you already bought a converter to use the UAE adapter there but would still like to have the proper part sent out.  If you send me an email with a shipping address to use and the service tag of the system I’ll contact Dell India and have one sent out.
