Wanna see a man swim from Norway to USA? Download Opera in the next 48 hours – that is all you have to do, seriously! And if you’ve downloaded it, give it a run as well. It’s a pretty decent browser, albeit shareware. It was my preferred browser before Firefox came along during my dark Windows nights. Will give the Mac version a spin as well, just to see this guy live up to his promise :) Now that’s what you call a good publicity stunt ;)
Meanwhile, a Liverpool fan shows money isn’t everything:
“MUTV, which is United’s cable channel, asked me to do an Asian version of MUTV and I turned it down, even though it guaranteed me a lot of money,” Richmond said.
“I have my principles, I’m a Liverpool fan and I don’t think it’s right. It’s not because it’s Man U. Even if it were West Brom TV or Darlington TV, I wouldn’t do it. I can’t picture myself saying: ‘Welcome to MUTV, we have a report now on our excellent captain, Roy Keane’”
Pure class. And he’s been rewarded for his loyalty as well – who says honesty doesn’t pay? ;)
