iPodder

You own a MP3 player? You spend some time every day commuting/ traveling? You tired of listening to your MP3 collection?

Read on if you answered yes to all of the above, or even if you didn’t because this can still be of use to you ;)

iPodder is a “cross platform podcast receiver” which you can use to download online radio shows and the likes to your computer and listen as per your convenience. You can, of course, transfer these files to your preferred MP3 player and listen to them “on-the-go”.

You can specify your favourite shows and iPodder will download them when you want. It is available for Windows, Mac OS X (10.3 or higher) and GNU/ Linux.

I’ll be posting a detailed review at a later date when I have had a chance to play around with it a bit more.

And yes, I answered “no” to all three questions ;)

Check out http://www.dv8.us and scroll down to Oct 12, 2004. Engadget had a detailed “how-to” on podcasts.
